Hello Nailheads !!!
Thanks for checking out the NAIL FILE this week. Seems like time is just flying by and the band is busy getting ready for our show in Brantford Ontario on Dec. 27th. Tickets are going fast and we have a few left for any Nail heads that are on our mailing list so contact the band if you are interested in going. We have a great opener for the show “Top Dead Centre” which you can find on myspace if you want to check them out. Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm, hope you can make it.
Rhino and I had a great time at the Vollmer’s annual xmas party and it was great to see some of our old friends such has Brian and Linda of course, the girls from “Kittie” Tara, Mercedes and Morgan, and of course Dee. It was also great to chat with the X- Helix crew and the new.
Now that xmas is drawing near of course we are busy getting ready at the house of “NAIL” to celebrate with family and friends and as usual Christmas Eve is our night to open the doors for all our friends and family to drop by to get NAIL’d with a little Christmas cheer…Wobbly pops that is, and food to help keep the spinning at a minimum.
The second “NAIL” CD is now in the writing stages and so far it’s coming along great !!
Two songs have now been recorded and are ready for mixing. This week we head to a little town called Burr just north of London where we shoot the first video scene for “FOAD” and I’m thinking Burr it well be this time of year. We are looking for some unique characters for this video (male), so if you think you would like to be a part of the next “NAIL” video just pop us a line, maybe we can use you.
We would like to thank Vanessa (Nessie) for doing such a great job last week on the NAIL file and for lending her awesome little voice on the Carpe Diem track. Also a big thank you to Ron our webmaster for taking care of us all year and doing such a great job on our website, without him it just couldn’t get done.
Thanks to Perris records and Metal Mayham records we now have distribution in the States, so we are very thankful to both record labels for taking interest us and helping “NAIL” the States. A big shout out to Metal head radio and DJ PJ of radiougly.com for spinning our tunes. Don’t forget to check out our live interview coming up on Dec.22 with DJ Dirty Diamonds, we will send out a bulletins on myspace and facebook with the time slot.
Well all hope your holidays are full of love and music and remember if Santa doesn’t bring you what you wished for there’s always Boxing Day….
