Welcome to the NAIL file everyone !!
Well we had a great week this week playing the London Ribfest and thanks to all who came to the show, we had a blast. Rainer got to play his new Widow guitar he just built and I have to say, what a kick ass sound it has not to mention it’s the coolest looking guitar I ever seen.
We also want to thank all the nailheads who checked out our awesome merch booth which ROCK’d thanks to Amiee. Claudia was busy taking video and pics for us so Amiee stepped in as our merch girl and made it happen. We will be adding some new items to our merch section soon so be sure to check it out, there may be something there you would like to have. Thanks Claudia, Amiee, Dave, Randy, Jamie, and Scotty for helping with the show, what would we do without you guys.
I am very excited to have received an email from Janne Stark from the band “Mountain of Power” out of Sweden who had asked me to be a guest vocalist on their new album, so have just finished the tracks on an old Sammy Hager tune called “Urban Guerilla” not sure what Sammy was smoking at the time but it sure made for an interesting track. The track has been sent and it seems they like it so lets see how it all turns out, I’m looking forward to hearing the final mix. We are planning on hitting the studio next week to work on more new material for the second “NAIL” cd , so far so good, looks like it’s gonna “NAIL” ya !!
I have also been talking to the Road Dog out of Kitchener and we will be doing a show with the Doerner brothers of My Wicked Twin/Helix in Oct. so as soon as the details are ironed out and date confirmed I will post the event on facebook and myspace so we hope to see you there, should be a great time.
