Hey hey everyone, thanks for checking out the “NAIL FILE”. Thought it would be nice to do a little update this week seeing it’s been awhile since we did one. The band is still working on the new cd , mainly writing right now with some great new ideas. We are hoping to have it completed by Sept. and available for download. We have decided to press a limited addition of this cd and mainly go with downloading it on iTunes.
We have added another date to out calendar which is Thursday, June 11th in Toronto at Rock & Roll Heaven where we will be showcasing, so if your in the area or just in the mood for a road trip drop on by to check out the show. We are still sorting out the details but we are hoping to do the whole show there which will be an one hour forty five minute set, and maybe add a couple of new tunes if time allows. Also, this Wednesday (May 27th) at 6pm est. we will be interviewed by a station out of New York , I will post a bulletin on myspace and facebook with the link if you’re interested in tuning in online to have a listen.
This has been a tough week here at the house of “NAIL” for we have lost a dear friend who not only came to support us when ever we had a show but also shared many xmas eve gatherings, birthdays, bbq’s and party’s with us. It’s never easy to lose someone close to you and he will be truly missed, so this week’s “NAIL File” is dedicated to our dear friend Rob Small. Rainer and I recorded the Carole King song “Way Over Yonder” as a dedication to Rob.
