May 03, 2009 Hey all!! It’s been awhile since we did an update on the nail file so now it’s time to get back in the saddle. Thanks to all who came out to the show at the London Music Hall, it was a blast. This place just rocks, great stage, pa, light show, stage crew and the management where awesome to us. The only bummer of the night was when we discovered the elevator broke down just before loading out the gear, and man we were feeling the after affects of lugging all that gear up and down stairs the next day. Also we would like to thank Ministry of Zen for doing such a great job opening the show for us, be sure to check them out if you get a chance, just an awesome bunch of guys. We have now confirmed two shows so far for this summer one in London and the other in Toronto so feel free to check out the date’s section here on the site for the details and we hope to see you there. Well I guess most of you who visit the nailfile and follow what’s going on have seen the “FOAD” video by now, hope you all enjoyed it, it was a lot of fun to do and also a lot of work for Rainer. The video is now being featured this month on MHR TV which is very cool, looks like it came in # 2, not bad at all. I have sent out a bulletin on myspace where I added the MHR TV player so you can check it out there if you are on myspace and a NAIL friend. We had hoped to have some live video to show you all from the Music Hall date but due to some technical problems and just a lack of time to set it all up unfortunately we didn’t get anything usable. Big shout out to all the crew who worked on the show as well, Wayne (sound tech), Ned (live video presentation), O’Neill (lights), Natasha (stage and guitar tech), Xach (stage), Claudia & Amiee (merch), Steve (door), Bob (loader), and all the other guys who busted their asses loading all our shit.
