So here we are another week has passed us by, holy crap were does the time fly? Hope you all have had a great week, me... I’m busy as usual. Mailing, emailing and now trying to find a venue for the cd/showcase release party. So far it seems Cowboys on Wharncliffe would be a great venue for the party. I have been checking out the details for using the venue and is just waiting for a reply on rental fees etc. As of now we have been holding may 29th as “The Date” but it’s not confirmed yet, still things to do. We will certainly keep you all posted when it’s a go and we hope you can all come out and party with us that night.

Well those of you who have joined the facebook group thanks for the emails regarding the London radio stations, I know I may have sounded a little pissed, ya it’s true I sometimes need to vent. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to request us on fm96, I figure if the requests keep coming they’ll sooner or later have to play a song, besides we all need to get “NAIL’d” once in awhile …. As for Fanshawe well, maybe you guys can send them a request as well, who knows maybe there’s a dj there who’ll take the forbidden plunge.
For those of you who live in Newfoundland we now have cd’s to give away on the K-Rock Station, not sure when it’s gonna happen but you can always email Big Tom to find out and don’t be shy request a song. We need your help in Newfoundland as well, get the tunes playing and who knows we may just have to come there and “NAIL” the Rock!!
We have just received an email from the Uk from a music journalist named Nicky Baldrian (male) from Fireworks Magazine who has informed us that we made the top 50 band to watch out for in 2008, we made 27, not too shabby, we will also be in the next issue and on the cd they issue with the magazine as well.
As you all we have a myspace site as well and it as proven to be the best tool a band could have, thanks to all who have been requesting to add us and we hope it continues to grow. We have been receiving the greatest emails from some very cool people and it’s been really exciting to meet you all. I do try my best to email and send a comment your way and if I have missed some of you please accept my apologies, sometimes it’s hard to get to every email.
Hope you all enjoyed the update last week, rehearsals have been great fun for us and we do enjoy hanging together. We are planning on recording more rehearsals for future updates so don’t forget to check that out.
Last but certainly not least Rainer and I lost a dear friend last week and would like to send out our condolences to the Wade family, our hearts are with you. Shawn was not only a friend but he was one of the few managers we had ever had who truly believed in us back in the late 80’s when we first met him, and when we had hit some tough times he was always there for us, he will be sadly missed by all.
