Hey hey everyone!!

Thanks for stopping by to the “NAIL” file hope things are rock’n with you all. Just wanted to write a short file this week and let everyone know we are planning our CD release party and the date is now confirmed for May 14th at Norma Jeans in London. We have yet to hire an opener but we will definitely have someone, so you’ll have to check back with us on that. I will post on facebook and the site when the tickets become available for the show and for those of you who haven’t joined our NAIL group, what are you waiting for? We are designing some new tees for the show; one to promote the new CD and Rainer has one designed for F.O.A.D. as well. The final mixes are now being done and the CD should be at the printers next week if all goes well. Looks like the band will be busy getting ready to launch NAIL II “Power and Greed” with rehearsals for the party, new pictures for the website and new merch, there’s a lot to do. I’m hoping to update the site just a little with the new songs, merch, and pics soon so keep an eye out for that. We will also launch a video which was taken live at the music hall of a song from the new CD, it was done with just one camera by our friend Scott Taylor, we did have 3 cameras but unfortunately the other two didn’t work out, one kept shutting down and the other ended up being out of focus so Rainer had to get creative with the editing, looks pretty good to me. So a big thank you goes out to Scott for the camera work, if you ever need a video done he’s your man.

I have been working on some other shows as well here in Ontario and I have been contacted by an agency out of the Windsor area who may work with us on some shows so lets see how it goes.

Oddly enough we have been receiving emails regarding the old KAOS album we released back in the 80’s, it seems a lot of people are now interested in finding a copy so I decided to have a look in my storage and I happened to find 7 albums I didn’t know I had, so what to do. Two of the KAOS albums have already been purchased one is on its way to Sweden and the other Greece, so I now have four left to sell (had to keep one for myself) and I’m thinking ebay would be the best way to do this. So for anyone out there who is interested in receiving one the last five we will post on the NAIL file when the album has been posted on ebay for purchase.

Greetings from Greece,
I am trying to get in touch with you for ages. I am a Heavy Metal/Hard Rock music collector and journalist (I have worked with many metal magazines here in Greece, like Metal Invader, Heavy Metal Collectors and a few others).

I have on tape the songs of the KAOS - Total KAOS LP (I got it from tape trading more than 10 years ago) and it was always one of my favourite Hard Rock/Heavy Metal releases from Canada. I could never find more info about this great release and I could not find an original vinyl LP to buy, I am sure that it was never distributed here in Greece.

I just found the NAIL site and I am extremely happy that you keep releasing great metal songs.

Cindy's voice is just amazing, the production is top class (even by listening through my PC speakers, I can't even imagine how it will be when listening it from the CD of my sound system) and I am speechless about the guitar work!! Well done!!! Is the NAIL CD available for sale? Can I pay through PayPal?

Also do you by any chance have any copies left of the KAOS original LP? It would really be great if I could buy it and stop listening to it by my old tape which does not have a good sound quality (back in the early '90s tape trading was a great way to discover music but now it is just not enough). Please check if you have any vinyl’s left and if you do let me know the price.

Many thanx for your time
Elias Chatzialexis

P.S. "Right Now" is one of the best songs that I've heard in years. And I am not trying to flatter you, I know what I am saying,I am almost 40 years old and have around 5,000 vinyls and 3,000 CDs in my collection, so I have listened to a loooot of music in my life. The NAIL CD will be one my favourites, for sure. Good work, bravo!!!
