Thanks for dropping by the “NAIL File” everyone, now that the new year is here it’s time for the band to get back to work. We are looking forward to getting out there and playing for you all soon. We have some interesting things in the works such as a new magazine review by Sweden Rock Magazine this month, which also put us in the top ten of best albums in 2007. Fireworks Magazine has just invited us to be a part of there “Cats & Claws” volume 2 which will feature female bands. “NAIL” will have a track on their Cd which will be in a future issue (April, may, June, 2008), they will also be doing an interview with us. This is UK’s premier rock magazine so of course we are very excited to be a part of it, this magazine distributes 4 to 5 thousand copies to all Virgin Megastores and Borders Bookshops in the UK. We also made the top 5 best albums in Sweden’s Metal Central Magazine, I think they like us in Sweden.
Radio stations are gearing up to “NAIL” ya as well, so don’t be shy, request, request, request. Several university stations are receiving the cd this month and Fanshawe College has also received the cd so keep your ears open and help us spread the word, lets “NAIL” Fanshawe. For some reason unknown to us and all the NAIL HEADS in London our very own radio stations here haven’t responded to our request to play a little “NAIL”….why you might ask…. We have yet to receive an answer, oh well it’s sad but true. We are happy for now that the US, UK and parts of Europe have been “NAIL’d” and now we are hoping to hit them this summer to do it live.
We are also gearing up to do some video work, yes it’s true we have decided to put our beautiful mugs on tape, GOD HELP US ALL !!! We are really excited to put together the story boards and put the songs on video. We are still deciding which song to start with, maybe you guys can send an email and let us know what you think should be the first video….that would be cool.
Festivals are just around the corner so I have been crazy busy sending out promotional packages in the hope of securing dates, lets keep our fingers cross, things are looking good, some positive replies have been coming in so ya never know.
